Jamboree Shoutout! 1) U15s The U15 team closed out its season in strong fashion at the 2012 NCJLA Jamboree held at Treasure Island last Saturday. They won both their games to finish with a 5-1 record. Dylan Edelson had 2 great games in goal, The offense looked great, led by Karl Schenck & Liam North. Our Defense, led by Daniel Redeker and Alex Arriola had a fantastic Day, and Bix Asato played the most inspired D I have seen him play in 2 years!! 2) U13s. The U13 team also closed out their season strong at last weekends jamboree. They didnt get the W's, but definitely played their best two games of the season, having the lead in both games before giving up a few in the 2nd half. The scores were the closest games all season, our guys just got tired with a short bench. But the play was inspiring to watch, as it was evident how much the team has improved since the beginning of the season. Taylan Alves did a fantastic job on Offense, leading the way with 7 goals in 2 games. Victor Lombrana did excellent in goal, and on faceoffs again. Rex Asato & Sean Anderson controlled the ball for us by winning most of the ground ball wars in their vicinity. Our Defense played their best game of the season, Artie, Joe, and Chris did a great job. Everyone contributed, and I am excited to see how the team progresses and what they will be able to do next year!!
